    Description

    Vintage 1966 Castleton China Brandywine Valley Association LaFayette's Headquarters at Chadds Ford.  The drawing was made by Andrew Wyeth.  This is the third of a series. Diameter 10 3/4". Very good condition. Made in the U.S.A. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.  Back of plate provides the following information:
    LaFayettte's Headquarters at Chadds Ford
    Built in 1745
    Home of Gideon Gilpin, a Quaker farmer who loaned the house to the Marquis de LaFayette during the Battle of the Brandwine.  This drawing was made by Andrew Wyeth before the Brandywine Park Commission restored the house as it now stands.
