William J. "Bill" Clinton - TYPED LETTER SIGNED 04/21/1994. Condition is "Used".
This was a letter sent to Marvin Mason, President of Central Oklahoma AFL-CIO Labor Council.
President Clinton, at the time, was thanking Marvin for his letter concerning the "Striker Replacement Bill" which was extremely important to Clinton and a "Bill" they struck down in the Senate only three months later.
The last full paragraph has his thoughts on why he supported the "Striker Replacement Bill" that includes "protecting employees who exercise their legal right to strike from the threat of permanent replacement" to "stimulate productivity, increase international competitiveness, and contribute to long-term economic strength.
The letterhead is "The White House" with the crest above the name.
Also looking closer to right under Bill Clinton's name it has a watermark of what the stationary was called "Woven Linen".
The letter has a small coffee stain to the left of the word April and two very small tears in the two creases where it was originally folded, from I'm sure, being 27 year old.
The stain and small tears can be seen in photos.
The back has a couple of different area of light dirt areas probably of someone's handling.
I am not going to authenticate because I found this among Marvin Mason's personal papers and photos after his death and with his Presidency of the IBEW as well as being a very active member, there is no doubt in any of our minds of it authenticity.
